UVP describes an outcome while your solution describes how the outcome is achieved.

Think of the UVP as the finished story benefit (or outcome) the customer gets after using your solution.

Example:
Solution: Job recruitment service
UVP: Find your dream job in 60 days

Your UVP is a promise of the outcome customers get, while your solution is describes how that outcome is achieved.

I could easily substitute "Job board website", "Resume builder", or "LinkedIn" for the solution above while keeping the same UVP.

Takeaway: A good UVP is outcome versus solution focused.
